Zen Master – Father Reding – Switzerland – Japan – Korea – Founder of the Zen Order in Switzerland

Zen Master Father Reding welcomes you to the Honora Zen Monastery in Switzerland.

Now that the journey of my life is over and since no relatives are going with me from this world, I wander lonely in the intermediate world. May the peaceful and frenzied Zen Masters send out the power of their mercy. And clear out the dense darkness of ignorance.

Separated from beloved friends I wander alone, and the empty forms of my own projections appear to me, may the Zen masters send out the power of their mercy lest the terrors of the in-between world appear. As the five brilliant lights of wisdom shine, may I fearlessly know myself. The forms of the Peaceful and Frenzied Zen Masters appear, so may I fearlessly and confidently discern the space in between.

Suffering the evil force of the consequences, may the peaceful and frenzied Zen Masters remove the suffering. As the sound of death rumbles like a thousand thunderbolts, may it be changed into the sound of teaching. At the moment of spontaneous birth in the in-between world of becoming, the false teachings of the tempters may not arise. As I get to any place of my desire by supernatural power, may the madness of terror evil consequences not arise.

The Wisdom Eye - Zen Master

The wild beasts of prey roar, may it become the sound of the lesson. When I am pursued by snow, rain, wind and darkness, may I attain the clear divine eye of wisdom. Free from jealousy, may all living beings be born in a higher state. As the passions cause great thirst and hunger, so the torments of hunger and thirst, heat and cold, may not arise. I see my parents in the future union, may I see the peaceful and frenzied Zen masters with their consorts.

With the power to choose my place of birth, may I receive a perfect body adorned with the auspicious signs for the benefit of others. By thus attaining a perfect human body for myself, may all who see and hear me be liberated immediately. I will not follow my bad consequences but will follow and extend whatever merits I have.
