Baptism – Naming – Welcome party and Blessing for the Child

The baptism, naming, welcome party and blessing of the child with Father Reding from Honora Zen Monastery. To be baptized means to be immersed in death. To be buried, raised and revived. We humans pass from the death of sin to the life of God.

Baptism is the gateway to life

Baptism is the bath of rebirth. It causes those to be baptized to be taken into communion with the Father, the saints and the Logos and consecrated forever to God.

Whom the Father in heaven calls into life, who knows why, what for, he has to give himself up, he lives towards death. He calls his people out to sea throughout the ages, he will escort them well, his word will bring them home. Baptized with the Spirit and water, united out of slavery,

God called his people, so he meant us. We were born again when the saint came to us, taking upon himself the earth as a servant of sin. Consecrated with him to be the Son of God through spirit and water, with him we are buried, we always rise. Bound in blood, dead for death, freed from guilt and living only for God.

Whoever accepts this baptism and goes his own way will perish in death that he will rise from death. He will give his life, he makes his own bread, he dies and other lives, he survives death. baptism renewal I am baptized and dedicated to God the seal of the Trinity by power and the mark will never depart from me.

God gave me his spirit, I immersed in Christ and raised in his kingdom to praise him forever. I am now reborn from water and the Holy Spirit (Logos). God, who is called eternal love, chose me to be a child. I may call him "My father," he made me his heir. I am invited by him to his grace's banquet. The Holy One, the Lord has chosen me to live for him henceforth. I want to serve him in the world and bear witness for him. So I no longer live alone, I can be connected to him.

I bear his name; I will remain his forever. Amen

Blessing for the Child

Bless this child and help us to help him learn to see with his own eyes his mother's face and the colors of the flowers and the snow on the mountains and the promised land.

Bless this child and help us to help him learn to hear with his own ears the sound of his name, the truth of the wise, the language of love and the word of promise.

Bless this child and help us to help him learn to put his hands to his friends' hands, to machines and plans, to bread and grapes and to the promised land.

Bless this child and help us to help him learn to speak with his own lips about the joys and sorrows, about the questions of men, about the wonders of life and the Word of Promise.

Bless this child and help us to help him learn to walk with his own feet on the roads of the earth, on the arduous stairs, on the paths of peace into the promised land.

Bless this child and help us to help him learn to love with his heart. thanksgiving Father in heaven, who created all life and calls us to you through the saints, we thank you for this child and all the happiness that is about to begin.

We ask you, Lord, because you are a friend of children, take care of young life so that it can grow protected. Before we decide yes and no, the following applies to us: be saved. Thank you that the salvation of the world does not stand or fall with us.

So bless this child and those who are close to him. Where guilt burdens, Lord, forgive. Where fear oppresses, set hope free. Father in heaven, who is now making a beginning in faith through baptism, also give you the courage to take the next step. Show us the way and follow it.

Now write their names in the book of life, Lord, and let them not be brought to you in vain. Ah, stamp your word deep into the heart of every child, so that it is safe from sin and yours in joy and in pain. You, who yourself are the life, the way, the truth, you want to give us all your salvation, Lord.
