Affair of the Sausages – Return to the true Self-Nature – It is simply that which knows how to utilize things according to the case at hand!
We celebrate the Affair of the Sausages (9th of march 2022 was the 500th anniversary) the beginning of the Reformation in Switzerland and thus the beginning of a cultural change towards decay. In the home of the printer (Froschauer), the applicable ban on abstinence (eating meat) was demonstratively violated.
Reformation
It was not until the Reformation that the Bible was viewed as the only legitimization in questions of faith and interpreted accordingly. With the additional social change caused by technologies (materialism), the Bible has since been read and interpreted verbatim, which is absolute nonsense.
Freedom of Choice and Selection of Food
To sum up briefly: if you want to fast, do so; if you do not want to eat meat, don’t eat it; but allow Christians a free choice. If you are a person of leisure, you should fast often and abstain from food that excites you; the worker moderates his desires by hoeing and plowing in the field. You say, ‘but the idlers will eat meat without needing to.’

Wisdom is not a particular thing that can somehow be acquired. It is simply that which knows how to eat when we are hungry, how to sleep when we are tired, and how to use a fan when we are hot. Wisdom is that which makes a vessel into a teacup when it is filled with tea, a sauce dish when it is filled with sauce, a rice bowl when it is filled with rice, and a medicine pot when it is filled with medicine. There is no set method in the functioning of this wisdom. It is simply that which knows how to utilize things according to the case at hand.
