Spirituality - Christian Zen Meditation

When the activity of the mind becomes less active, that of the will takes over. This should not be understood to mean that the will is now being used more strongly, but rather that contemplation becomes more affective. Christian Zen meditation or spirituality is the willingness to listen to the inner longing for God and to embark on a path to God. By listening, especially to the word of God, one can come closer to the Lord. This path does not mean a rejection of physicality or an escape from the world. It is an inner movement towards God and from there towards one's neighbor.

If you think correctly, your reason will lead you safely to God. And if you have found God, the duty of prayer is a matter of course. Christian meditation and contemplation does not serve to develop the ego and cultivate the personality, but rather to reveal the divine self. It is not knowledge that is sought and achieved, but certainty and divine wisdom. Our family tradition is to find the "church in one's own mind and God in one's own self." A traditional teaching of self-cultivation that has long been forgotten by many in the East and long since lost in the West.

Peace is always in God - For God is Peace

Next to the Peace Chapel stands a statue of the protector of our homeland, Niklaus von Flüe. Peace is always in God, for God is peace, and peace cannot be destroyed. But unrest would be destroyed. Therefore, you should ensure that you focus on peace, protect widows and orphans, as you have done so far. And whoever's happiness increases on earth should be grateful to God for it, and it will also increase in heaven.

You should also carry God's suffering in your hearts, for it is man's greatest consolation at his last end. Many people doubt their faith, and the devil makes many inroads through faith, and most of all through faith. But we should not be doubtful about it, for he is where he is placed. I write this as a warning to you that if the evil spirit asks someone for this, he should resist all the more gallantly.
